Using the Umps Home Alarm with Multiple People

Using the Home Alarm with multiple people

Introduction

Two or more people in the same household can share the same Hub. Each person simply needs their own button, and either person can raise an alert at any time.

How does it work?

Each button works independently. When anyone presses their button, the alert is raised through the shared Hub. Up to 20 buttons can be paired to a single Hub.

What button options are available?

You can choose from several types of buttons:

  • Pendant Button is worn around the neck on a lanyard. Ideal as a second Pendant for another person, or as a spare.
  • Wrist Worn Button is worn on the wrist. A good option if you prefer not to wear a lanyard.
  • Wall Button is mounted on a wall. Ideal for high-risk areas like the bathroom, bedroom, or at the bottom of stairs.

To order additional buttons, call us on 1300 907 272 or visit www.umps.com.

How do I set up an additional button?

When you receive a new button, you'll need to pair it to your Hub. See How do I pair a Button to my Hub? for instructions.
